Blood DNA and RNA Extraction

Blood is one of the most reliable sources for high quality DNA extraction. Years of R&D know-how and manufacturing experience with our own magnetic beads-based Mag-Bind® Blood DNA  and RNA  kits and silica filter-based E.Z.N.A.® Blood DNA and RNA kits enables us to extract blood DNA and RNA with much higher yield and quality when compared to leading competitors, yet at only a fraction of the cost. 

When applicable, our extraction protocols are automated on our in-house liquid handlers - Beckman FX, Hamilton STAR, Tecan Genesis and Thermo KingFisher Flex. In addition, we utilize our own automated platform, the Magnitude XL, our latest innovation for high throughput blood extraction for volumes up to 10 mL.
Expected Yield:

Although DNA yield is dependent on the amount of nucleated cells (leukocytes in human, for example) in the sample but typically up to 500 µg DNA can be obtained from 10 mL fresh whole blood. At the other end of the spectrum, a single 6 mm punch of FTA blood card typically can yield up to 2 µg DNA.
